Over recent years, the four owners of IPS Logistics Group have moved progressively to nonexecutive board roles within the group. This board comprising the four owners has remained focused on the needs of customers, constantly looking for ways to meet their needs in the best possible manner.

After careful consideration, the owners have made a strategic decision to re-enter the business and take on an active involvement in the running of the group’s operations and a direct focus on customers.

Steve Brown will be leaving the group and, effective immediately, key management will report directly to the board.

Importantly, this decision will enable staff and customers to have a direct point of contact at the highest level of the organisation, thereby maximising the opportunities for successful outcomes.

IPS’ operations have evolved over the years, especially with the sale of its Narrabri agribusiness in 2012 and of the group’s Brisbane warehousing assets (with lease-back arrangements) in recent months. Operations now encompass a wide range of logistics functions, including import/export container handling and transport, warehousing, value-add services, international freight forwarding, and interstate transport.

Contact details for the four owners can be found below or on the IPS Logistics website www.ipslogistics.com.au which also provides a wealth of other information including the range of services available.
