designed to handle agri-business commodities and are supported by more
than 10 hectares of container-handling equipment and direct rail

Narrabri is the
original site of the
“launch” of the IPS Logistics Group back in
1996/97.
Located in the rich
farmland country of north-west New
South Wales, IPS Narrabri operates more than 20,000 square metres of
warehouse space supported by more than 10 hectares of
container-handling facilities and equipment.
Adjacent to the
Newell Highway and other major regional
trunk routes, IPS Narrabri offers direct and unrestricted access to
farmlands and communities located north, south, east or west of the
city — vital in moving Australia’s farm produce to
world
markets cost effectively.
These
purpose-built facilities in the heart of
Australia’s cotton-growing region transfer more than 100,000
tonnes of containerised cargo every year, and are designed to handle
agri-business commodities in particular. This means IPS delivers
unsurpassed levels of service and expertise at highly competitive
prices throughout rural New South Wales.
With its own
dedicated rail siding, IPS Narrabri offers
direct rail services to and from all major Sydney (Port Botany)
shipping terminals, allowing prompt dispatch of export and import
cargoes, without the need to resort to more expensive road freight
delivery.
Narrabri also
transfers large quantities of timber,
seeds, grains and legumes through its facility, and being in the
farming heartland, it offers exporters, producers and commodity traders
a world-class facility that is capable of handling large volumes very
rapidly.
The Narrabri
facility is also a fully accredited AQIS
(Australian Quarantine Inspection Service) site with independent
grain-testing facilities available.
